Welcome to BluVox, the online marketplace you can trust for trading in your old tech. Founded in 2022, we've quickly become a go-to destination for those looking to get the most value out of their old devices. Our mission is simple: we aim to offer you the most money possible, with a no-nonsense approach and swift payouts.
What we offer
We understand that each device is unique, just like its owner. That's why at BluVox, we provide quotes for devices in any condition. Whether it's is in pristine condition or has seen better days, we offer competitive pricing across the board. What sets us apart is our commitment to giving you more for your damaged devices. We believe every phone has value, and we're here to prove it.
Sustainability and Responsibility
At BluVox, we take our environmental responsibility seriously. The phones we purchase undergo a carefully managed process to ensure their maximum utility. Functional devices find new owners, damaged ones are repaired by our expert partners, and those that are beyond repair are sent to recycling specialists. These specialists extract as much as possible from the devices and dispose of them in an environmentally friendly and sustainable manner.
Frequently Asked Questions
The IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) number of your device is a unique 15-digit code that can typically be found on the sales invoice provided at the time of purchase. If you no longer have access to the sales invoice, you can easily retrieve this number directly from your device. Simply dial *#06#, and the IMEI number will be displayed on your screen. This method works for most mobile phones and smart devices.
Yes, we certainly do. When requesting a quote for your device, you'll be prompted to answer several questions regarding both its physical and technical condition. We welcome devices in any state, ranging from brand-new to non-functional. Simply provide us with the details of your device's condition, and we'll offer you a quote based on that assessment.
If you can't find your device listed on our website, it's possible that we're not currently accepting it as part of our recycling or trade-in programme. However, we're always updating our list to include more devices. We encourage you to check back regularly, as your device might be added in the future.
To get started, simply use our website to obtain a quote for your device. If the quote meets your expectations, the next step is to package your device and send it to our team using the complimentary shipping label we provide. Once we receive your device, our team will conduct an assessment to ensure the condition of the device aligns with the description you provided. If everything matches up, we'll proceed with processing your order, and you'll receive your payment without delay. The entire process is designed to be as straightforward and hassle-free as possible.
To ensure a smooth trade-in process for your device, please follow these essential steps:
Data Backup: First, make sure to back up all important data stored on your device. After your device is shipped, retrieving data will no longer be possible.
Disable Security Features: It's crucial to disable any security locks or passcodes on your device. This step is necessary for us to access and assess your device. Failure to do so may result in delays.
Remove SIM Cards and Accessories: Please remove any SIM cards and ensure no accessories (cases, chargers, etc.) are sent with your device. These are not needed for the trade-in process.
Secure Packaging: Lastly, package your device securely to prevent any damage during transit. The safety of your device is of utmost importance to us.
Its important that any security locks are removed before sending your device to us, normally the quickest way to do this is by factory resetting your device. For more help follow this link.
If you've accidentally left your SIM or memory card in your device, it's important to contact the team immediately through the Portal's inbuilt chat feature. While we'll make every effort to retrieve them, we cannot guarantee their return. To ensure the security of customer data, we typically destroy SIM and memory cards upon receipt. Therefore, there's a chance your items may have already been disposed of by the time of your request.
Any quote will stay valid for 14 days, at which point both the offer and shipping labels will be invalided, and a new quote is required.
You can monitor the progress of your trade-in, view any updated quotes, and communicate with the team through the Portal. After your order has been confirmed, a link to the Portal will be provided to you by email.
Firstly, you should check your junk/spam to make sure that the email isn’t there. If not, message our team here and they will help.
At BluVox, we prioritise the privacy and security of our customers' data. Our partners strictly adhere to data protection regulations and employ an encrypted erasure process. This ensures that all customer data is securely wiped from devices before any repair or recycling, safeguarding your personal information at every step.
We only offer BACs payments, but we make sure these are quick so you get your money on time with no hassle.
Once an order is completed, payments are usually made the same day.
If you have accidentally used the wrong bank details, you must contact the team as soon as possible via the Portal’s inbuilt chat functionality. We will endeavour to get these updated, however, in instances in instances where payments have already been made we unfortunately wont be able to help.
